ETH Zürich

Teaching Assistant for Andreas Krause’s Probabilistic Artificial Intelligence course at ETH Zürich.

Probabilistic Artificial Intelligence

I was selected as a Teaching Assistant for Probabilistic Artificial Intelligence (PAI), taught by Andreas Krause at ETH Zürich. I joined the tutorials team early in my master’s after completing the course during my exchange a year earlier with a grade of 5.75 / 6.

PAI is widely regarded as one of the most demanding courses in the ETH Zürich computer science curriculum. Being invited to return as a teaching assistant was a meaningful opportunity to revisit the material from the other side of the classroom and help students work through it.

Tutorials team

As part of the tutorials team, I give tutorial sessions, prepare homework sheets, answer questions about the lecture and tutorial material on Moodle, and hold Q&A sessions. The role combines careful preparation with the ability to explain difficult probabilistic and machine learning concepts clearly, adapting to what students need in the moment.
